Millsap Farms Walk: Fall Production
Weds. September 21st from 6:00 - 8:00 PM CST

Farming doesn’t need to stop as the temperature drops! Using season extension infrastructure, cold tolerant cultivars, and other methods, farmers can manage their production even as the weather gets cooler. Join us out at Millsap Farms to tour the farm and discuss how Curtis and his team manage their fall production.
No registration is necessary for this in person event, however selecting 'Going' on the Facebook event is helpful for planning purposes. Please be sure to bring a water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and bug repellent if you desire. SCG is accepting applications for our October 2022 and March, April, May, June, July, & September 2023 intern cohorts! Anyone 18 years or older, including veterans, minorities, and beginning farmers, are encouraged to apply.
